The game starts in an Army training camp where the gamer gets the first feel for the physics of this First person shooter. When the gamer is done with training they are quickly deployed to a ship where they are to "catch" a ride on a helicopter that takes the player into battle.

Activision has captured fire!!!! Fire one of the key special effects elements in war games often looks blurred and undefined, but activision gives fire an intense crisp defined flaming appearence with it's use of intense color and lighting effects throughout the game. Hot is the only way to describe the use of light and shadow along with great artistic talent that Activision demonstrates to create an almost a photo realism not often seen in multiplatform games. The physics, within gameplay are amazing. Movements are natural, fluid and smooth. The graphics of Call of Duty 4 for the playstation 3 are outstanding. Graphically on the Xbox 360, Call of Duty 4, is the best multiplatform game released by activision to date.

Call of Duty Online- Online players will enjoy the "Kill Cam". When you are killed and waiting to respawn you can elect to watch the Kill Cam which shows you from the perspective of the shooter, getting shot. This liitle handy viewing ability is not good for those who like to hide in one spot and snipe. You will be found. Moving up through the ranks to unlock other online gaming options is achieved with relative ease as you gain experience.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions , to go Prestige or not. When playing online you are given the choice to go prestige or remain at level 55. Well at level 55 you have obtained some cool weapons and functions and in order to go prestige you MUST give all those weapons and abilities up. But the Eagle on yellow looks really cool, and the starbust at the next level of prestige is nice too. Then you start seeing players with green diamond, and red star bursts. It is tempting to go prestige but be advised everytime you give up everything it becomes all the more difficult to accumulate the points necessary for advancement as the players you are up against become better and better remaining at level 55 with all their weapons and you although in Prestige are left with little fire power to defend and attach.

This game, Call of Duty 4 for the Microsoft Xbox 360 is a Keeper , a must own for those who enjoy FPS games
